Building confidence, empathy, and healing through the connection between horses and humans.
Mission & Vision
Kindred Strides of the Sonoran connects people and horses through mindful education, compassionate horsemanship, therapeutic riding, and community outreach inspired by the Sonoran Desert. We believe in the healing partnership between horse and human, fostering confidence, empathy, and growth through hands-on learning and authentic connection.

Our services
Traditional Riding Lessons

Build confidence, skill, and partnership with horses.
Whether you're stepping into the saddle for the first time or looking to improve your riding, our traditional lessons provide individualized instruction in a supportive environment. Students develop balance, communication, horsemanship, and safe riding skills while building a lasting connection with their equine partner. Lessons are tailored to each rider's goals and experience level.
Adaptive Riding Lessons

Where every rider has the opportunity to succeed.
Our adaptive riding program is designed for individuals with physical, cognitive, emotional, or developmental challenges. Lessons are customized to meet each participant's unique abilities, promoting confidence, independence, balance, coordination, communication, and emotional well-being. We believe every person deserves the chance to experience the healing power of horses.
Horsemanship & Ground Lessons

Discover the language of horses—no riding required.
Some of the most meaningful relationships with horses begin on the ground. Participants learn horse behavior, grooming, leading, communication, safety, and basic care while developing trust, patience, leadership, and confidence. Ground lessons are perfect for those who prefer not to ride or who are preparing for future mounted work.
Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL)

Life lessons inspired by horses.
Equine-Assisted Learning is an experiential program that uses hands-on activities with horses to strengthen personal growth and life skills. Through guided exercises, participants develop communication, teamwork, problem-solving, emotional regulation, self-awareness, confidence, and leadership. No riding experience is required—just a willingness to learn from these incredible animals.
